A Good and Cheap Susbstitute for the Expensive Primers Out There!

   Sooo...Hello! I finaly decided to post something on here!! What an amazing day this is.

(Imma stop the sarcasm now, sorry!) :)

   We all know that in order to have a long lasting "made-up" face, we have to follow some steps like NO eye-watering or crying, NO sweating, NO touching of the face with our naturally dirty little fingers and USE  a face primer. However, when you search for all those beauty gurus's advised brands, you either find them but they don't exist or are super hard to get in your country, or they're bloody expensive, specially during your University stage (where they suck the money from your wallet like, **SPOILER ALERT**, Edward Cullen when he wanted to save Belle from the blonde guy's venom).

   So, some weeks ago, during my Uni's launch break, while on my phone (as we all do nowadays), specifically while on my Instagram account, scrolling through its homepage when suddenly I found this amazing account which is based on makeup products' reviews, and just that got me completely amazed! I kept on scrolling through this account's page and discovered this rather strange men's aftershave lotion(Nivea MEN sensitive post shave balm) review. However, in this context, the product was directioned to the makeup routine, replacing the standard face primer. Isn't that just weird?:p I know, but the truth is, if you don't have that 'primer money' yet, you can buy this product in any supermarket near you and use it as a primary solution for your makeup. Let's be real: it's probably not as brilliant as the other 'real' primers, but is a good and cheap substitute for them.

   As you can read in the instagram pic's caption, you will need a couple of minutes to spread it well on your face and it may smell a little too manly at first, however, this smell will dissipate almost no time after the application of your usual makeup. It also values your money a lot more than the regular primer, as it gives you a lot more product making it last longer in your makeup drawer! It's claimed to keep your skin shineless throughout the day, on which I have to say that really depends on the type of skin you were blessed with. It is not, indeed, a good item to take on a travelling situation, as it has a heavy container(glass bottle) but when in need you can pour a little bit of the product inside a lighter and smaller container, perhaps like a contact lenses transporter kinda thingy.

   So here you have it! For only a few €,$ or £ you can find a good-ish substitute for the regular expensive primer. Obviously don't discard your life goal :P of having your Benefit POREfessional primer or your Too Faced Hangover Primer  or other expensive but really effective primer's brands. So you know, keep on saving your money for good OG products. However, in the mean time, use this one good substitute.
