Hello, Hello, Hello!!! How are you feeling today?
So this time I'm bringing your way something a lot of people like on the internets... something that you already know what it is (cause it's on the freakin' title): a Primark Haul!!
Primark has been, for many years my favourite store in the shopping mall, so everytime I go there I want to bring everything that appears in front of me, but in reality I can´t cause I have a budget! Also, I don't get to go as much as I want since it gets a little expensive to get on the train and then on the subway in order to arrive to a shopping mall where Primark exists...
So, because I went there in this summery month (August) there was a general Summer Sale happening all over the place, therefore I could find some good gems inside the store as you'll be able to see in this post, from Clothing, Shoes, Accessories and Beauty to Home stuff and a little surprising Kids' item, soooo stay tuned!
Without further ado, let's start this haul!
CLOTHING
In this aisle there were too many goodies, including some really cute ruffley blouses/tops that seemed to come out of a Princess's closet, however what I really needed was just some jeans and some socks (boring right? that's just life sometimes tho). So guess what I bought???
I bought this pair of Khaki Skinny jeans (9€) which I think are very trendy at the moment and super suitable for the upcoming Fall/Winter time. Their fabric is comfortable but at the same time they lack on elasticity which could improve even more the level of comfort. The marks on the upper-thigh area are something that gives them, in my opinion, a bit of an edgy look which is kind of perfect for a sporty/casual kind of style.
I also stocked up on some basic jeans, so I got the Black Super High-Waist Skinny jeans (11€), which do what they say: super high waist, that goes above your belly-button, and some White Super Stretch Skinny jeans (13€) and these ones are the most comfortable since they have a lot of elasticity. I think that they fit well on the legs (where else would they fit?!), they are very comfortable but they lack on some ankle tightness. Otherwise the only disadvantage that I can think of is that because they're white, I'm always being extra careful so I don't make them the slightest bit dirty. About the black jeans, they offer a lot of comfort, since they also have quite a bit of elasticity; the high-waist feature can be a little annoying when sat down but it's also the cute part of them. These two trousers will look awesome when included in those neutral black and white (and maybe gray/grey) outfits.
................
This is one of the gems that I talked about in the intro... I found this Tank Top with cut-off sleeves in the Men's section for 1€ instead of 6€ and I thought "I'm gonna buy it! It's a cool looking top, especially with a Bandeau Bra or Top underneath. With all honesty I only wear this Tank Top when I'm home, because I don't have enough body confidence yet to be so airy on the trunk area or whatever. In terms of fabric, the cotton that predominates in the top is very comfortable and breathable so you just feel hip and cool when wearing it! |
................
Then I also bought some basic items like black and white Shoe Liners, which I must say are so good!! They fit well, they look good and they FEEL good... Aaaaand for 7 pairs you only pay 3€! Isn't that amazing? |
SHOES
In this category I only bought 2 things and they are both gems! As you will see the style that they fit in is not the same, being one of them sporty looking and the other formal looking.
So these are some Black semi-Flat semi-Formal shoes that I got on sale for just 5€ (instead of 15€). One of the best things about them is that they have memory foam insoles which makes them totes comfortable to walk in. I also love the vivid contrast between the actual shoe and the white chunky sole. |
................
Then I saw these slip-on trainers selling for only 4€ (instead of 10€): a BARGAIN!!!
However this was the only colour available on sale so I didn't have much to choose from.
When you walk on them it feels like you're walking on the clouds. I think this happens because their insoles are made of memory foam so it cushions you're "landing" on the ground. I will say though that they can be a little too warm (not warm enough to make your feet sweat but a little too hot) and the soles, which seem to be like a tough foam don't look like they were made to walk on fragmented ground like gravels and other sandy types of floors. It just feels like they will last longer when used to walk on solid and polished floors rather than those sandy floors. However the comfort level that they offer overlaps these details...
ACCESSORIES
I didn't spend a lot of money or time in this aisle, because, honestly, I don't accessorize much these days. And the only thing I bought from here was something that I want to transform into another accessory, and it was also a gem!
So this is a 2pack choker with 2 very different pieces, both being really pretty, they costed me 1€ (instead of 3€).
Here's the thing: I don't think I have the coolness needed to use a choker so I'm thinking about transforming these 2 chokers into 2 different bracelets and just go with it.
BEAUTY
This is definitely my favourite zone in the store, however most of the time I can't find what I'm looking for (having searched for it online before going to the actual store). An example of this is the fact that I don't have their loose setting powder anymore and I'm sad about it.
I bought this pressed translucent powder for 2€ (instead of 4€) and supposedly makes your skin flash photo ready. I don't know if it really does that but it does light up your skin in a matte way, if you know what I mean... If you put too much on you may end up looking like a mime (and if that's what you want, DO IT!!) It definitely makes your skin matte (not for long time on my oily skin though). This is also not an option for baking under your eyes cause you end up with 2 blue-ish looking under-eyes, so I just use it to top-off all the foundation, concealer and other creamy stuff that's on my face. As you can see on the swatch it comes off in that white/blue-ish colour but you can actually buff/blend it . |
................
This is a Matte Long lasting Lipstick (2€) in the shade Bronco, a brown-ish nude that I think goes very well with all skin tones. It is indeed matte and long lasting and it doesn't feel uncomfortable like a lot of those liquid lipsticks make you feel. If somehow I feel uncomfortable with the mattifying agent (mainly because my lips might not be hydrated enough), then I just like to put some of the gloss that comes on the bottom of the lipstick on and it seems to kind of hydrate a little bit my lips while rocking this lovely shade. |
I leave here some swatches as well, first you can see the actual lipstick, then on the second gif you can see the swatch of the complementary gloss.

This is a Longwear Lip Liner Pen (1€ instead of 3€) in the shade 01...Ultimate Nude, which can be defined as an pink-ish coral with a slight hint of burnt orange. I got this Lip Liner with a big big friend of mine who also has a Blog and a YouTube channel (myfashionroutine.blogspot.pt/) and we immediatly thought about using this liner as an actual lipstick per se, however we both discussed after trying it that it got a little uneven on the lips since it was a pen, not a pencil. So do what you want with it: use it as a liner, as an eyeliner, as a lipstick... be creative. It definitely gives your lips such a pretty and cute color and lasts forever on the lips.
Here you have the swatch of this beauty!

So the last thing I bought that belongs in this category is this body mist (Glisten & Glow body mist), which, as the name says, makes you sparkle a little bit after you spray it on yourself. It's a very cool product that can also refresh your skin while giving you a soft perfume. Before the discount its price was 2.50€, but I bought it at 0.50€, another good bargain.
HOME
Primark's home stuff is amazing and everytime I see it I wanna have it, however I have to be wise and ask myself "Do I need it?", so because of that I only got around to buy a single product that was on sale that will go very well into my dorm's kitchen stuff.
I got a Tea Towel that says "I Love Lisbon" with a load of hearts. I just find it really cute and cheap. For just 0.50€ (it was 2.00€) I got myself a tea towel that I can use as a place mat for my meals at the dorm!
Here you can see all the cuteness in detail!!!
KIDS
This may be a surprise for many... "What is a 20 year-old doing in the Kids' aisle?", "Is she buying a gift for someone?", "Does she have children herself?" NOOOOOOOOO. I just love what this product does! It's one of my favourite things in the world!
It's a Bubble Wand!!! I Loooove bubbles, there's just something about them against the sun light, in a pretty green garden, following every bubble until it pops, with the frighten/amazed cats looking at them with serious doubt!
This Bubble Wand came in a 2pack (with this green one there was a blue wand; in another pack, the combination was hot orange and pink). The pack was only 1.30€.
................
So, this huge Primark Haul came to an end, and I hope you liked it and feel inspired to go out and buy a Bubble maker ;).
